Caeli Harris, Pennesylvania born & Missori raised, is a Multidisciplinary Artist with a background in Fashion Design (formally trained at SAIC) . Now based & made home in Chicago, She has manufactured a style that fuses her upbringing & her experience today.Caeli’s work is a textual and visual melting pot, drawing heavily from Black culture, history, and dress. She delves deep into the tactile and symbolic meanings embedded in fabric, using it as a language to speak to the intrinsic creativity within Black identity. She envisions textiles not merely as functional objects but as living narratives that communicate the depths of who we are and the worlds we aim to create.she creates pieces that narrate personal and collective stories.
Caeli constantly explores the concept of world-building—a creative direction where fashion becomes a part of an imagined universe. This universe is built upon layers of personal experience, history, and artistic vision. Through her designs, Caeli crafts different worlds: some abstract, some rooted in the real, all interconnected by a shared thread of creative empowerment. She brings together multiple influences, drawing from the fluidity of gender, the evolution of cultural identity, and the complexity of the human form. Each piece in her collection is part of a larger conversation, a world in which the wearer becomes an active participant, shaping their own narrative through their garments.
This is a line that evolves with the wearer—a line that grows with you, that transforms with you. Her pieces are versatile, timeless, and adaptable, offering something for every woman to adorn herself with. For Caeli, the body is central to her work. She celebrates and embraces all body types, creating pieces that accentuate the natural form with comfort and style. Through her designs, she redefines fashion as a tool for empowerment, self-expression, and connection.
